Two Nigerian Lawyers 'Fight' With Chairs In Enugu court.

 

A video published on YouTube by  Daily Post captured the moment the 2 legal practitioners lifted their chairs at some stage in the scuffle as other lawyers in the room made efforts to separate them.

There was a commotion on the Customary Court in Obukpa city within the Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State on Thursday as  legal professionals were given into a combat.

A video published on YouTube by Daily Post captured the instant the two legal practitioners lifted their chairs at some point of the scuffle as other attorneys in the room made efforts to separate them.

One of the warring parties is heard within the video announcing, “He is a totally small boy… He is a mad guy.”

“Touch me again,” The 2nd attorney replied.

“Who touched you? Look at this mad guy,” the first lawyer stated.

One of them later walked out of the court.

“Look at you. You have bleached your self like a idiot. You have bleached yourself like a lady,” the second one attorney said as his colleague retreated.

At the time of filling this report, Viewer'slight could not independently verify what caused the scuffle. However, their action is in opposition to the expert ethics and behavior typically being preached by means of the Nigerian Bar Association.

For instance, in July 2021, the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee (LPDC) sanctioned eleven legal professionals for diverse acts of expert misconduct.

In 2018, the LPDC also disbarred seven lawyers and suspended 12 others for the same offence.
