On Saturday while an electric transformer exploded in Gada Biu community, Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
It became learnt that the incident which occurred
3 a.M. On Saturday additionally destroyed some residential homes and stores within the location.
Residents said the transformer had exploded and set fire to the encircling buildings and stores leading to the dying of the victims.
A resident of the community confirmed the incident to The Viewer'slight in Jos on Saturday .
Silas stated, “The people of Kabong village inside the Gada Biu network awakened this morning round 3 a.M. To mourn the dying of four people. They had been electrocuted because of an electric transformer explosion within the vicinity. I recognize that greater others have been trapped inside the fireplace and we don’t realize their fate now.”
The Spokesman for the Plateau State Police Command, Alabo Alfred, while contacted, said they were aware of the fire incident and that an research had started out to get to the bottom of what came about.
